Harmonies of the Gospels

Harmonies of the Gospels

A gospel harmony reads Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John side by side so you can see how the four accounts complement one another. Each Gospel writer highlights different aspects of Jesus’ life and ministry — Matthew emphasizes His kingship and fulfillment of prophecy, Mark His role as the suffering Servant, Luke His compassion for the lost, and John His divine identity. By studying the Gospels in parallel, you gain a fuller, more detailed portrait of Christ than any single account provides on its own.
This discipleship study walks through the life of Jesus chronologically using a parallel harmony format. Each section presents the corresponding passages from all four Gospels together to help you compare the accounts and draw out their unique emphases.
